  • Joined kapa.ai, a Y Combinator-backed startup building AI assistants that make technical knowledge accessible through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

  • Took on a more hands-on technical role while managing a smaller team of 2 engineers
  • Drove the design and implementation of AI-powered features, including a fully agentic recruiter copilot that leverages all internal recruiter tools (search, profile scoring, etc.) to automate end-to-end recruiting workflows
  • Independently led integration of AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral), designing prompting strategies, and implementing tracing and monitoring infrastructure

  • Contributed to the setup and development of the very first version of the Collective app, especially on the backend and frontend architectures (Nx, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture)
  • Collaborated closely with the Product team to deliver the features needed to release the application and actively participated in feature implementation (NestJS, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL)
  • Defined processes for the functioning of the Engineering team and its collaboration with the Product team, in close collaboration with the CTO
  • Contributed significantly to revamping the recruitment process, which led to the successful recruitment of 6 software engineers
  • Contributed to the early implementation of the testing infrastructure to ensure the reliability and stability of the application (Jest, Testing Library, Storybook, Chromatic, Datadog Synthetics)
